Maryke Rossouw
Contributing Editor: Physiotherapy

Maryke studied at the University of the Free State and obtained her B.Sc Physiotherapy degree in 2001. Her first job was in a Private Practice in Sandton where she gained experience in many different spe-cialties from medical, elderly rehabilitation, neurology and outpatients, to name but a few. Afterwards she worked in an outpatient practice in Rustenburg. Maryke went to England after this and worked for three and a half years. She gained a lot of valuable work experience as a Physiotherapist in England mainly in the specialities of neurology and medical. She also had the responsibility of supervising students there. Maryke met her South African husband in England thereafter and they decided to return to Cape Town. Currently she is working in a private physiotherapy practice in Panorama Medi-Clinic, looking after a wide variety of patients in the areas of neurosurgey, neurology, orthopedics, medical and outpatients.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Maryke to our Editorial Board and thank her for her contribution to eCPD. Her first CEU will be available in April.
